1. What Treep is

Treep is an application to plan trips, keep a trip diary, share experiences (blogs, reviews, posts), earn achievements and connect with other travellers. By creating an account and using the application you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. Your account

You must be 16 or older and provide truthful data. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what is done with your account; if you suspect unauthorized use, change it from Account settings. Only one account per person is allowed.

3. Your content

The content you publish is yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, free and limited licence to show it inside the application according to the privacy you chose. This includes the moments of your trip diary: you choose who sees each one (only you, your followers or everybody). You can delete it or delete your account at any time. You guarantee that you have the right to publish what you upload (texts, photos) and that it does not infringe third-party rights; do not upload photos showing identifiable people without their permission.

4. Rules of use

The following is not allowed:

• Publishing illegal, offensive or discriminatory content, content that incites hatred or violence, or that violates other people’s privacy.
• Impersonating others, harassing, spamming or posting unauthorized advertising.
• Trying to access other people’s accounts or data, bypassing security measures or overloading the service.
• Manipulating ratings, achievements or statistics (for example, with fake accounts or empty or automated content) or using reports falsely or abusively.
• Using the application for commercial purposes without our consent.

5. Moderation and reports

Any signed-in user can report content (blogs, posts, comments and profiles) with the flag button. The team reviews the reports and may hide or remove content and block accounts that break these terms; we do not tell the reported person who reported. If you think we made a mistake, write to us from the contact page.

6. Achievements, souvenirs and levels

Medals, points, levels and souvenirs are a game element with no economic value and cannot be transferred. They are calculated automatically from your activity; we may correct them, change the rules or withdraw them if they were obtained improperly.

7. Travel information

Guidance texts about destinations (which may be generated with artificial intelligence or come from our own database, and may contain errors), weather, the route drawn on the map (which only joins the destinations of your itinerary and is not a navigation route; maps by OpenStreetMap contributors) and the data of the plans are informative. Before travelling, check entry requirements, vaccines, bookings and schedules with official sources and your providers. Treep is not a travel agency and does not manage bookings.

8. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service running, but there may be interruptions or changes. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the application or from content published by other users. None of this limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.

9. Changes and governing law

We may modify these terms; if the change is relevant we will tell you. They are governed by Spanish law and, if you are a consumer, you have the right to go to the courts of your place of residence.
